40 years ago today, "Pac-Man Fever" was #10 (up 2) on the Billboard Hot 100, #8 (up 1) on Cash Box Top 100 Singles, and #4 (down 1) on Record World Singles. The single was also #31 (up 7) on RPM's 50 Singles chart in Canada.
Meanwhile the album debuted at #129 on Cash Box Top 200 Albums and was #93 (up 30) on Billboard Top LPs & Tape. I couldn't find its Record World Albums position for this date.
